About Anvil Business Center
What is Anvil Business Center?
An Ontario, Canada company that helps small and growing businesses become investment-ready. It does this through two imprints: Anvil List (the platform) and Anvil Form (the education and training).
Where are you based? Do you work outside Canada?
We are headquartered in Ontario, Canada. Firms and businesses anywhere can use Anvil List and join Anvil Form programs online, including in the United States, the United Kingdom and Africa.
Do you invest in businesses or arrange funding?
No. We do not invest in, lend to or take equity in the businesses that use our services, and we do not promise or arrange funding or investor introductions. We help businesses become easier to understand, trust and back. Decisions about raising capital remain yours.
Is anything you provide financial or legal advice?
No. Our tools, programs and materials are educational and organizational. For investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, please consult a qualified professional.
Anvil List
What is Anvil List?
An investment-readiness workspace for professionals: consultants, advisers, accountants, incubators, accelerators and other firms that serve small businesses. Firms invite their existing clients and take them through five steps: Invite, Assess, Remediate, Attest, Showcase.
Who pays for Anvil List?
Professional firms pay a subscription. Businesses invited by a firm are not charged for the platform.
How is the subscription priced?
Pricing depends on your team size, the number of client businesses you process and the storage you use. Current pricing is shown at sign-up.
What is a founding firm?
A firm that joins at launch. Founding firms get early access, help shape the product and are recognized as founding partners.
When does Anvil List open?
November 1, 2026.
I'm a business owner, not a firm. Can I use Anvil List?
Anvil List is accessed through a professional firm. Ask your adviser, accountant or incubator to invite you. If you would like to build readiness yourself, see Anvil Form below.
Who can see my business's information?
Your firm and the people you or your firm choose to share it with. You control what you showcase. See our Privacy Notice.

What is Anvil Form?
Our education and training imprint. Its main offering is the Investment Readiness Program, delivered through cohorts, sessions and learning materials.
What does the Investment Readiness Program cover?
The six elements of investment readiness, in order:
- governance;
- financial readiness;
- legal and compliance;
- market and traction;
- team and operations;
- the investor pack (pitch deck, business plan and data room).
Each module ends with a concrete output.
What is the pioneer cohort?
The first cohort of the Investment Readiness Program. It opens November 1, 2026. Join the waitlist at join.anvilform.com to be first to hear about places and pricing.
Is it online? How much time does it take?
Yes, it is delivered online. The time commitment and schedule for each cohort are published before enrolment.
Will I get funding at the end?
The program helps you prepare. It does not guarantee or arrange funding. What you leave with is the documents and structure that make your business easier for investors and lenders to assess.
Do I get a certificate?
Participants who complete the program receive confirmation of completion. It is not an accreditation or an endorsement of a business's investment merit.
Is there a refund policy?
Refund terms for each program are stated on its sales page at the time of purchase, and in our Terms and Conditions.

Are the October 29 sessions free?
Yes. Register on the session page and you will receive the link and the replay.
I can't attend live. Can I watch later?
Yes. Everyone who registers gets the replay link.
